Wearing Live Free or Die apparel is a statement that celebrates Granite State’s fearless attitude and enduring pride.

Where does “Live Free or Die” come from?

It all started with General John Stark, a local hero of the Revolutionary War. When he couldn’t attend a reunion with his comrades in 1809, he sent a message that read, “Live free or die; death is not the worst of evils”. Those words struck a chord, capturing the unbreakable spirit of New Hampshire, and eventually became our state motto. Today, wearing Live Free or Die apparel is a way to honor that legacy and carry on the fearless independence that defines our state.
